A New type of Alarming system for earthquake detection is designed as follows. The Alarm unit can be made handy and also economical. The signal that this unit makes can be heard at one’s residence few moments before the quake could be sensed by the individual, giving enough time for him or her to act. Just as the lightning is seen before the thunder could be heard, the unit designed by us gives an alarm even before the quake could be sensed. There is an electric potential generated due to the motion of the rocks, which is transmitted to the control room. The electronics is duly built such that these electrical potential is detected and converted into sound waves and are transmitted to the alarm units. The simple unit so designed by us, if brought to execution can save humanity from devastation.

One of the serious concerns any scientist today is Global Warming. Due to ozone layer depletion the average temperature of earth is rapidly shooting. To make things worse this increase is more in the polar region than in the equator region. This not only makes the place incapable to live for some rare species but also raises the sea level. This in turn makes the sea to enter into the land as its volume increases rapidly. Things don’t stop there. Drastic climatic change will be pronounced around the globe with flood at one place, extreme draught at another place, rainfall and storm in most of the places. This gristly condition is not very far if our world continues in the present state. Our future generations are going to suffer the most. If we can’t improve the situation for their betterment then why don’t we stop making things worse?
