File sharing is the activity of making files available to other users for download over the internet, but also over smaller networks. Usually file sharing follows this model: files are stored on and served by personal computers of the users, but source information about these computers is taken from central servers. Most people who engage in file sharing are also downloading files that other users share. Some times these two activities are linked together. File sharing is distinct from file trading in that downloading files from a file sharing network does not require uploading, although some networks either provide incentives for uploading such as credits or force the sharing of files being currently downloaded.
Non-linear video editing means being able to put any frame next to any other frame. This method was inherent in the cut and glue world of film editing from the beginning. Video editing, when it first became possible, was a recording method, which eliminated the need to destroy previous versions, but was by definition linear. Non-linear, non-destructive methods began to appear with the first digital images. Compared to the linear method of tape-to-tape editing, non-linear editing offers flexibility of film editing with random access and easy project organization. It is easy to make new versions non destructively. Initially, only low-resolution pictures could be digitized, as storage was limited and expensive. Broad cast quality and high definition are possible these days.
It is the name given to any television with what is called a “return path”. Information flows not only from the broadcaster to viewer, but also back from the viewer to the broadcaster. Another feature common to all iTV systems is the ability to offer each TV set, or each viewer who uses that TV set, a different choice of content. Interactive television describes any number of efforts to allow viewers to interact with television content as they view. It is sometimes called as interactive TV, iTV, idTV, or ITV. It is often described as “lean back” interaction, as users are typically relaxing in the living room environment with a remote control in one hand.
